Snowmobile Package “Le Trappeur”
(4 days of snowmobile and dog sledding)

Here is an example of a package of 7 days/6 nights which includes 4 days of snowmobile and a half day of sled dogs. We pick you up directly from Quebec. (For those who wish to arrive and leave in Montréal, you must add about $ 95  for each person.)

Each week, departures are planned on Sundays,  from December  to March.

During this great ride, which is of a beginner or an intermediate level, you are going to discover 535 km of trails and at the same time, ride in the incredible region of Chaudière-Appalaches, which is the oldest mountain chain in North America.

In the middle of the province of Quebec, valleys, forests, lakes, rivers and big amount of snow take part in the beautiful landscape. The beautiful sights, which can reach 100 km during clear days, are going to stay in your minds for a long time!

Day 1- Arrival in Québec

• Arrival at the international Quebec airport
• Transfert from Quebec to St-Georges
• Welcome to SÉCURITOUR location center
• The meeting of your guide, you choose et try your clothes and helmet
• Handing-over contract and briefing before departure in the next morning
• A night at Hôtel Route 66
• No meal included

Day 2- Snowmobile (125 km)

• Breakfast
• Driving tricks and security rules
• Departure around 9 o’clock
• Lunch in a beautiful Scandinavian-type relay
• Back in the late afternoon through mountains and valleys on beautiful trails covered with a thick white coat
• Dinner and overnight at Hôtel Route 6
• 3 meals included

Day 3- Snowmobile (150 km)

• Breakfast
• After a hearty breakfast and a souvenir of your visit, you take your snowmobile for a day full of exciting
• After a pause to relay the Oasis, we climb the Morne (Mont St-Sebastian) to discover a splendid view of 360 degrees and more than 80 kms ahead.
• Lunch in a snowmobile club house
• At the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in the most beautiful trails in Quebec we finish the day with Ghyslain and Colombe to observe and feed the deer
• Dinner and overnight in private chalet (beautiful location on the edge of a lake and a sugar shack)
• 3 meals included

Day 4- Snowmobile (125 km)

• Breakfast
• Departure around 9 o’clock
• Still in the Appalachians, you take pictures of the hundreds of deer that share tracks with snowmobile
• Lunch in a relay
• In the direction of Mont-Orignal, you will find plenty of snow in the region
• Dinner and overnight  at outfitting
• 3 meals included

Day 5- Snowmobile (135 km)

• Breakfast
• Departure around 9 o’clock
• Visit if the Mont du Midi (high of 915 meters) where you have a beautiful sight of more than 100 km.
• Beautiful landscapes where snow is often 4-5 meters thick
•  Lunch in a snowmobile house club
• Back at SÉCURITOUR at the end of the afternoon
• Dinner, overnight at Hôtel Route 66
• 3 meals included

Day 6- Dog Sledding

• Breakfast
• Transfert for dog sledding
• Free lunch
• In the early afternoon, tranfer and overnight to the Old Quebec
• Dinner not incluced
• 1 meal included

Day 7- Québec and return

• Breakfast
• Free time to visit Québec and to buy the last souvenirs…
• Free dinner
• Transfert to the Quebec airport by taxi (you can expect about 30 $ CAN for taxi)
• 1 meal included
