Because we always want to maintain the quality of our services, SÉCURITOUR ride with groups of 6 people maximum. During the entire ride, we have our disposal snowmobile house clubs with washrooms and restaurants. You can also modify the package according to your needs and you can choose to include until 8 days of snowmobile.
Route, restaurant and mileage might change according to weather conditions.
Snowmobile Package “Le Coureur Des Bois”

Here is an example of a package of 7 days/6 nights which includes 5 days of snowmobile. We pick you up directly from Quebec. Guaranteed departures are planned on Sundays from December to March.
During this great ride, which is of a beginner or an intermediate level, you are going to discover 950 km of trails and at the same time, ride in the incredible region of Chaudière-Appalaches, which is the oldest mountain chain in North America.
In the middle of the province of Quebec, valleys, forests, lakes, rivers and big amount of snow take part in the beautiful landscape. The beautiful sights, which can reach 100 km during clear days, are going to stay in your minds for a long time!
Day 1- Arrival
- Arrival at the international Quebec airport
- Transfert from Quebec to St-Georges
- A night a the private home (bed and breakfast)

Day 2- Snowmobile (150 km)
- Breakfast
- Arrival at SÉCURITOUR location center
- Choice of your clothes and helmet
- Handing-over contract and briefing before departure
- Driving tricks and security rules
- Departure for your first day of snowmobile at 10 o’clock.
(Luggage which are not necessary can stay at center) - Visit of the longest wood covered bridge (154 metres), built in 1929
- Crossing of the suspension bridge of the Famine river (bridge reserved to snowmobile)

- We now ride on the edge of tree important deer yard ZEC JARO to Armstrong where live more than 5350 animals

Day 3- Snowmobile (205 km)
- Breakfast
- Departure at 9 o’clock towards Beauceville, from where we take the direction of the Lac Etchemin on large trails
- Dinner in a snowmobile house club

Stop at the observatory of Mont du Midi in a setting worthy of another planet so the trees are covered with snow looks like mummies
- Visit to the Canada USA border and souvenir photo near an aluminum terminal that delimits the 2 countries.
- Supper and sleep at the Outfitting in a beautiful and comfortable wood cottage. The most courageous are going to get the chance to try the SPA (outside bath), which gives an incredible feeling ! You have also at you disposal pool table, card game and bar.

Day 4- Snowmobile (210 km)
- Breakfast
- Departure around 9 o’clock
- Straight trails in the morning
- Dinner in a snowmobile house club
- Snowmobiles raise the powder snow of the ZEC CHAPAIS, one of the best places to see black bear
- In a total change of scenery, we go all day east. Lunch in a relay for snowmobilers
- Now in the St-Laurent region, you will be able to notice that the trail are very wide and beautifully maintened
- Fire in the camp
- Supper and sleep at the Outdoor Base Accomodation either in a chalet or yurt according to your taste

Day 5- Snowmobile (200 km)
- Breakfast
- Ride in forest on incredible trails
- Dinner in a snowmobile house club
- In the afternoon, you are going to discover the Lac 3 Saumon, which is in the middle of the mountains and crossed by an incredible snowmobile trail… here, pictures are essential !
- Look-out post with a sight on St-Laurent river and on the Côte de Beaupré
- This region is going to bring you on faster trail in the afternoon
- Supper and sleep at Jean-Pierre’s Outfitting (Jean-Pierre is a bear hunter)

Day 6- Snowmobile (185 km)
- Petit déjeuner
- Toujours au cœur des Appalaches, la force du vent dans cette région vous surprendra et vous donnera un aperçu du climat un peu rigoureux de l’hiver au Canada
- Visit if the Mont du Midi (high of 915 meters) where you have a beautiful sight of more than 100 km during clear days. Beautiful landscapes where snow is often 4-5 meters thick !
- Dinner in a snowmobile house club
- Explanations on how maple syrup is done.
- Back at SÉCURITOUR, complete contract and inspection of the sleds
- In the end of the afternoon, transfert to Québec with our driver
